As far as I know, there has been no movement at all from Toho regarding a Japanese Godzilla film. I would imagine (note: speculation) that Toho has no plans to do anything until they see how the Legendary Pictures attempt plays out. Toho typically spends less than a year on any of their films (including pre-production, shooting & post).
